A1. 	Integrated Lights-Out 2 (iLO 2) is HP's fourth generation of Lights-Out management technology for ProLiant servers
 now delivering the industry's most complete, high-performance, out-of-band remote management solution. iLO 2 is a new
 management processor and firmware that enables a new generation of innovative and standards based remote management 
capabilities including high performance Virtual KVM, Java-free
 Integrated Remote Console, power management, embedded system health and more.

iLO 2 remote control and management functionality is available as standard and licensed upgrades on ProLiant servers. 
The licensed upgrades are known as iLO Select and iLO Advanced. These are explained in more detail below.
